The sea is so clear that for a nice day the view is up to 30 meters deep.

Location

Between the islands of Vis and Lastovo there is the island of Sušac, where is in 1878 built lighthouse on a 100m high cliff.

Because of the unusual shape, looking at it from a distance, it looks like two separate islands.

Transfer to the island lasts up to 45 minutes and should be arranged a few days before arrival with the Mediterranean agency that is doing it departing from Vela Luka or Split airport.

The lighthouse consists of 2 floors with separate four-bed appartmants.

About the surroundings

If you are walking on the eastern side of the island, you will find stony beaches ideal for swimming in the sea.

The lighthouse is far away from civilization, so the food needs to be purchased before coming to the island.

On the island, besides the lighthouse kepeer, there is a shepherd who has a flock of sheep, whose meat has a specific taste for everyday salty food.
